Personally, I prefer CMS Drupal instead of the WordPress, but for many people is the WordPress the better solution. It has a very nice user interface and well done administration. The large number of freely available templates is typical for WordPress. This content management system is ideal for blogging or a few static pages with simple and easy administration.

If you would like to have your own WordPress template, you can try an online tool running at templatr.cc. It will allow you to create WordPress templates in three simple steps. The only thing you need is to have an idea about your new template’s design.

So the first steps will be the Layout selection. Use the arrows buttons to cycle through the layouts and select what do you prefer. Then click the layout image and see the changes in the main Templatr area.

Now continue with images upload. Every website templates use some images for backgrounds, header and so. Prepare these files with your image editor and upload them to the Templatr. They will be available in the third step.

The last, third, step is the designer. Click the Start Designertool link. You will see some options at the top. Select the basic element of the template in the Section menu. Continue with its child and select the parameters from the Action menu.

Templatr will highlight the selected element and will display the form where you can set up the values for the selected parameters like padding, margin or background.

When you are done click the Download here link and download your your WordPress template to the computer.

I think that Templatr is very useful tool if you would like to have an original WordPress template. You need to have some basic skills and knowledge about CSS, but I think that all WordPress users know something about it.
